Made from the Good Stuff

Loulou Lollipop started with two sisters and one teether. From there we've focused on better materials, like TENCEL™ and Tanboocel® fabrics, and LFGB-certified food-grade silicone. More than a decade later, we’re still committed to making products parents can trust.

TENCEL™ Lyocell

Made from sustainably harvested wood pulp, TENCEL™ Lyocell is naturally temperature-regulating and buttery-soft against sensitive skin — the fabric behind our sleepers, pajamas, and swaddle wraps.

Tanboocel® Viscose from Bamboo

Naturally breathable and hypoallergenic, our Tanboocel® bamboo viscose stays cool through the night — the fabric behind our muslin swaddles, quilts, and crib sheets.

LFGB Food-Grade Silicone

Every feeding piece is made from LFGB-certified, phthalate-free silicone — safe enough to chew, durable enough for daily mealtime chaos.

Better Fabrics, By Design

Not all “soft” and “sustainable” claims are equal. See what sets our TENCEL™ and Tanboocel® apart from the fabrics other baby brands use.

TENCEL™ Lyocell Bamboo Viscose/Rayon Polyester
Fibre Source Sustainably harvested eucalyptus wood, from FSC Certified forests Bamboo plant, but heavily chemically processed Petroleum-based synthetic fiber
How It's Made Closed-loop process — reuses 99.8% of water & solvents Chemically intensive process, with potential environmental impact Made from fossil fuels; non-renewable source
Breathability Excellent — regulates temperature well Good, but not as consistent as TENCEL™ Poor — traps heat and moisture against skin
Moisture-Wicking Keeps baby dry and comfy thanks to high moisture-wicking properties Moderate — can retain moisture under layers Doesn't wick moisture; can feel damp against skin
Softness Silky soft, even after multiple washes Very soft initially, but may pill or lose softness over time Can feel synthetic; prone to static and pilling
Durability Strong and durable, holds shape after washing Less durable, prone to stretching and pilling Durable, but doesn't soften over time and can trap odor
Hypoallergenic Naturally hypoallergenic, dermatologist recommended Generally gentle, but chemical processing may leave residue Can trigger irritation in sensitive or eczema-prone skin
Certifications Certified by OEKO-TEX®, tested free from 1,000+ harmful substances Not all bamboo viscose is certified; depends on manufacturer Rarely certified for chemical safety
