Does the suction actually hold?

Will it work on our high chair tray?
If the tray is smooth and non-porous, yes. Textured or slotted trays break the seal.

These are the best suction plates we have tried and bought more! Actually suction and very durable through the dishwasher. Wish they came in bigger sizes, though.
I have three suction plates (2x rhino 1x apple) and one suction bowl (1x alligator) and none of them will suction to my sons high chair or our kitchen table. He's only 6 months and easily pulls it off to throw on the floor. I love how sturdy they are and they are super easy to clean. Cute designs as well!

The plate is so cute! Love the divider and suction works well on smooth surfaces and as long as the bottom isn't greasy! Easy to clean and rinse. We use a non-scented dish detergent, so no issue with soap smell.

The plate is a little small - being a snack plate, that’s understandable. It’s well-made and looks adorable! My niece loves it!
Plate is sturdy, and not flimsy like some other silicone plates we've used. It's cute and suctions well. The only thing is on the elephant one, it's got a crevice above the ear that's small, so it's annoying to clean if there's food stuck in there.

It does not suction to my type of table. It wood table that has the line design. Not smooth. My son pulls off the tray 80% of the time and spilling food on the ground.

I bought this snack plate for my one year old who loves to push her plate off the table. I was disappointed to realize the suction did not work on any of the surfaces in my house and I mean I tried on pretty much everything…table, countertops, high chair, floor, coffee table..
For me it was just money thrown in the garbage. I would never recommend this product.

Suctions great to the table (wood veneer) and to the highchair tray. Cleans great in the dishwasher and the little alligator ears and bumps in the top make it easy to fill the spoon up for the baby (6 months).
Good quality silicone, wonderful color and cute shape! the suction is pretty powerful and works great for baby. Very satisfied with the product! I will buy more as she grows.

Although we haven't had much luck with the plate staying suctioned to the high chair tray (strong willed toddler and messy eater means there isn't a lot of clean area for it to attach to), we have loved this plate! The design is adorable and makes me smile whenever we pull it out. We've also seen great improvement with the use of utensils since the raised edges allow our baby to push the food against the side to help scoop it up! Would definitely recommend!
I bought a couple of these and my 3 year old loves them. Dinner time can sometimes be difficult but these plates excite her and make her want to eat. The suction on them is great and I'm excited to test them out with my new born in the months to come!
