Why TENCEL™ Lyocell and not standard bamboo rayon? TENCEL™ wicks moisture measurably better than standard bamboo rayon, so fewer damp wake-ups and fewer mid-meal regret outfits. It also holds its softness wash after wash, where bamboo rayon starts to pill. Closed-loop manufacturing recycles the water and the solvent — a real sustainability claim, not greenwashing.

The waffle knit adds visual depth and a small amount of additional air trapping — useful in shoulder-season weather, when day-to-night temperatures swing -13–-12°C.

Cut and fit. Sized newborn through toddler. Generous cut through the seat fits over a cloth diaper without bunching. Soft elastic at the waist won't leave a red ring after a long wear. Ankle cuff finishes cleanly without flopping.

A note on cloth-diaper fit. A common complaint about bamboo rayon baby pants is the seat shrinking after the first few washes — making cloth-diaper fit a struggle. Loulou's TENCEL™ waffle holds dimensions through the wash cycle, so a 6–9M pant fits a 6–9M baby in cloth diapers all the way through the size range.

Colour note. Solids in the waffle line rotate annually. Rainbow Tie-Dye is part of the current season — once the run sells through, the exact shade doesn't get reprinted the following year. We work with one dye-house on shade matching, so the colour you see online matches the colour that arrives at the door within a half-shade tolerance.
