The Loulou Lollipop Waffle Pom Pom Hat in Denim Blue is a soft TENCEL™ Lyocell baby beanie with a waffle-knit texture and a small finishing pom on top — built to be gentle on newborn scalps without leaving the elastic-mark forehead crease that thicker hats produce.

Waffle-knit TENCEL™ Lyocell with spandex for stretch and a snug fit that doesn't pinch. The waffle texture adds visual depth and small additional air pockets for warmth — useful for newborn temperature regulation, which is poor for the first six to eight weeks.

Why TENCEL™ Lyocell and not standard bamboo rayon? TENCEL™ wicks moisture measurably better than standard bamboo rayon, so fewer damp wake-ups and fewer mid-meal regret outfits. It also holds its softness wash after wash, where bamboo rayon starts to pill. Closed-loop manufacturing recycles the water and the solvent — a real sustainability claim, not greenwashing.
