Loulou Lollipop “$500 Gift Card Giveaway” Official Contest Rules

1. Sponsor

The Loulou Lollipop “$500 Gift Card Giveaway” (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Loulou Lollipop Inc. (the “Sponsor”), located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of:

  • Canada, excluding the province of Quebec; and

  • The United States of America (50 states and D.C.),

who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, and contractors of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family and household members of such individuals are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time on [Start Date] and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on [End Date] (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received during the Contest Period.

4. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

To enter, eligible participants must:

  • Follow the instructions published in the Contest announcement (e.g., social media post, email, or website entry form); and

  • Provide all required entry information accurately.

Limit one (1) entry per email during the Contest Period unless otherwise stated in the Contest announcement. Additional entries beyond the stated limit will be void.

Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, lost, late, or generated by automated means will be disqualified.

5. Prize

There is one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of:

  • One (1) Loulou Lollipop digital gift card valued at $500 CAD.

The gift card:

  • Is redeemable only for merchandise on louloulollipop.ca or louloulollipop.com;

  • Is non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash;

  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $500 CAD.

6. Winner Selection

One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on or about [Draw Date] at the Sponsor’s offices or via a secure online randomization platform.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification and Verification

The selected entrant will be notified by email, direct message, or the method used for entry within five (5) business days of the draw.

To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:

  1. Respond to the notification within five (5) business days;

  2. Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question;

  3. Complete, sign, and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release.

If the selected entrant:

  • Fails to respond within the required time;

  • Fails the skill-testing question;

  • Does not complete required documentation; or

  • Is deemed ineligible;

the prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor may select an alternate eligible entrant.

8. General Conditions

  • Compliance: By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

  • Right to Cancel or Modify: The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest where necessary due to fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control.

  • Disqualification: The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike manner.

9. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants release the Sponsor and all related parties from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.

The Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries;

  • Technical failures;

  • Any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation or prize use.

Residents of the United States acknowledge this Contest is governed by Canadian law and that any prize may be considered taxable income in their jurisdiction.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected for the Contest will be used solely for Contest administration and will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at louloulollipop.com or louloulollipop.ca.

No information will be sold or shared except as required to administer the Contest.

11. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsor the right to use their name, city/province/state, and likeness in advertising and promotional materials without further compensation, except where prohibited by law should it wish to do so.

12. Governing Law

For Canadian residents, these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada.
For U.S. residents, any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with British Columbia law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Winner List

A list of the winner’s initials and location may be obtained by contacting hello@louloulollipop.com within 60 days of the Contest closing date.
