How Your Support Is Helping Feed Babies in Canada

Some families in Canada are struggling to afford baby formula.

Through Mamas for Mamas, a grassroots Canadian charity that supports mothers and caregivers facing poverty and crisis, they are receiving direct formula support when they need it most.

For babies, feeding happens around the clock — and when resources are limited, that need becomes urgent very quickly.

In March 2026, we launched a formula donation program with Mamas for Mamas to help bridge that gap.

For every order placed on our Canadian website, we donate one 120ml bottle of Niuriss baby formula to support families experiencing food insecurity. Niuriss is a Canadian-made infant formula, produced in Kingston, Ontario.

This trial giving back program applies automatically to every purchase made at louloulollipop.ca until October 1, 2026. We’re hopeful this is just the beginning, with plans to expand the program and extend support to even more families in the future.

So far, Mamas for Mamas has been able to support families with 1,230 bottles of formula through this initiative.

Among those supported are refugee newcomer families and a young mother living in transitional housing — parents navigating incredibly difficult circumstances while doing everything they can to care for their babies.

When Mamas for Mamas shared messages from families who received support, a few stood out to us.

One mother shared:

“Receiving formula provided much needed nourishment for my infant when I was struggling to afford this essential item. This has provided so much relief during a challenging time in my life. I am so grateful for the support!”

Another wrote:

“As a newcomer and new mother, I have very little additional income to support my baby's needs. The baby essentials and formula provided by Mamas for Mamas team and their donors have helped me beyond measure. I am not sure how I would continue to survive without this support from the community.”

And another simply said:

“Mamas for Mamas filled an immediate need for formula when I was desperate and could not seek support elsewhere. I feel immense gratitude receiving this help.”

What stands out in these messages is not just the need — but the relief.

As parents, we understand that feeding a baby isn’t optional or flexible. It is constant, essential, and urgent — and access to nutrition should never be something a family has to go without.

This program exists because of this community.

Every order placed on our Canadian website contributes directly to supporting another family. While the scale may feel small in numbers, the impact in those moments of need is significant.

A can of formula can mean relief. Stability. One less impossible decision.
